As some people might know I ride a folding bike. This is because it's free to take with you in the train and it's a lot quicker as riding the bus from the station to college. My first folding bike was/is a Ventos folding bike as shown below. It's a prety good bike but after me abusing it for nearly 2 years now it starts to twist and bend. Already had a broken securing pin and the chain tends to run of a lot.

The replacement:

It's a Beixo compact  a folding bike without a chain. It uses a cardan shaft to transfer the energy from the pedals to the wheel. This should be a maintanance free system and also it is no longer possible to have a lose chain. I'll probably get the Beixo this week and hope to review it next week.

So nearing the end of the year. really can't understand where time went. What will I do next year to make more posts on the site? I'm going to figure out how to get hanze mail working in windowslive mail, write about Tilaa.nl my new host; I realy like it, Talk about Whisky my new found passion and probably will tell more about the Cave project I am working on and talk about my trip to Kraków. So see you next year.

As some might have notiched but hopefully no-one has I have moved the website to a new host. For some reasons I have decided to change host. Those reasons will be explained a little in the next part of this post.

So why have I changed host. Well I have been looking to go to one hosting company instead of the 2 I used to have, 1 for Jansman.eu/Ealanrian.nl and 1 for GHDev.nl. Last friday the hosting company for GHDev let me down by doing something to the database server making my site unreachable for over an hour. Well those things happen what triggerd my move was the fact that I wasn't told about it until 30 minutes into the down time.

The new company I am hosting on is Tilaa.nl. This is a dutch based company with some great service and excelent speed. So far I am very pleased with them. A full review on Tilaa.nl will be done in a few weeks.
